I got used to seeing Arsenal as a very strong team, very hard to play against, and I refused to accept that they are shit now. I finally accepted it after I saw this:

Floro Flores: We can beat Arsenal

When Floro Flores and the likes are confident about beating you, then you're seriously screwed. Juve went through the same with all the serie A nobodies claiming that they will beat us.
The sad truth. Losing Fabregas, Nasri and Clichy without replacing them was always going to have this effect.

Not so much Clichy.

Campbell, Toure, Vieira, Gilberto and Lehmann.

I don't think Nasri's that good and I won't list Fabregas until Arsenal have failed to replace him.

Clichy is only a loss because the alternative is way worse. He isn't really that good himself, but he is surely better than the permanently crocked Gibbs, even when Gibbs plays, he can hardly defend.

Same goes for Nasri, him going means more playing time for the likes of Rosicky, Arshavin and Ramsey. That is not good.

As for Cesc, i think he's one of the best in his position, will be extremely hard to replace him.

Whats up with those names? Are they players that we haven't replaced?

Ramsey's a better player than you give him credit for. He's never going to be good enough to be a key player for Arsenal, but he's decent enough.

Nasri only had one good half season for Arsenal, so it wouldn't be a problem if Wenger would go and spend the £20m from his sale on a replacement.

Absolutely.

Yeah.

The ones that were big personalities as well as key players and weren't replaced.

Give us Rosicky if you don't want him. We can give you Martinez.
Have you watched us recently? I doubt you'd want this new Rosicky, injuries have killed him to the point you can't recognize him, i can't believe this is the same Rosicky of 2004-2008 :p

Give Fred Amauri, Grygera, Iaquinta & Martinez for Arshavin & Rosicky.
Hey i watch Juve you know, you're doing me no favors with these swaps :p

What if Arsenal gets M'vila and Hazard.??
Would be very good. Hazard has a higher ceiling than Nasri if you ask me, getting Hazard for Nasri would be amazing. M'Villa is also a good player, isn't of much use offensively but he's got bags of stamina and is a good tackler, so i definitely won't say no to him.

Ramsey's a better player than you give him credit for. He's never going to be good enough to be a key player for Arsenal, but he's decent enough.

The key word on the Nasri issue being "if", the thing is he won't spend much money on his replacement, and thats why we'll miss Nasri, not that he contributed that much other than an amazing half season, but he's going to be better than the alternative. Who is left in the market anyway? Off the top of my head i can only think of Mata, who'd be decent enough i guess.

I don't really see what Ramsey adds to the team, he's not particularly good at anything. Not a terrible option to have on the bench by any means, but him starting, thats definitely a no no.

Ya right. :p

Even if we were wiling to pay the huge sum of money + the wages, whose to say he'd want to play for us

Sneider 38M
Hazard 30M
Cahill 20M
Baines 15M

We'll be set for a big title challenge.

Hearing a former Man City player (can't remember his name?) on Sky Sports recently joke about Arsenal becoming a feeder club for Arsenal actually properly pissed me off. Just goes to show the mentality of a club like Man City, absolutely no class.

What makes it even more infuriating is that its true :p

But you know what, till now the signings they made from us Toure and Adebayor were big money flops. Lets hope Nasri and Clichy are the same :D

Sneijder would join you.

His move to Inter only went through on the last day of the transfer window because going to Italy was a last resort; he was desperate for a move to England.

And you should add a decent 'keeper to that list.

:xfinger:

the same guy also said that Arsenal ought to become City's reserve team as well, complete ignorance.

May that club crash and burn very, very soon.
