I'd merge Europe with South America and have one big Champions League. Now that'd be great.
That would make it far worse, South American teams are really not high quality, maybe Brazil in the next 5 years will start to get very strong (due to economic improves, able to keep young players long, attract back "top players" ala Fabiano).

They've often got a few future stars in their squads, but most of their squad wouldn't make it in the 2nd tier of England, Spain or even Italy.

I think he has Bayern written over him.

I see De Gea near United.
I dunno, I agree that Munich is probably his initial choice largely because of his girlfriend - but I think over the two legs I think he might of had a feeling of going for United but yeah I think a deal is probably done already for someone which is a shame.

Btw, you're wrong about Berbatov, given the fact that he hasn't played for about a month I though he did quite well, he brought people into the game and held the ball up at times, not a stellar performance but certainly not "awful".

True, however I find watching South American football more entertaining than European these days. I'm certain some South American teams can destroy some of the teams in the Champions League.

Yeah, but that's often suicide in European football.

United used to be amazing in Europe to watch 6-5 vs Real Madrid few years back, the whole 1999 season - 3-3 vs Barcelona twice - vs Inter and Juventus and the final etc but even though they were fun and entertaining to watch they only reached 1 final. Now the team is far better tactically and 3 finals in 4 years. It says alot.

Tactically South American teams would probably be destroyed and have to adapt.

South American football have been better (in terms of enjoyment) than European football since like ever.
I used to stay up all night, wait for my parents to go to bed sneak into the living room and watch copa libertadores matches on mute when I was younger.
Most enjoyable attacking football you'd ever watch. Can't wait for Copa America.

I am 30+ and I beg to differ.
18-25 was the bomb.
If you're 18-25 and your life sucks, then stop hoping that it'll be better when you'll be 30+.
Naturally you need to do the work when your in your 20s in order to have the benefits when your in your 30s, I'm definitely not planning on having my best years behind me in 10 years. No thanks.

Don't bullshit me.

You snook into the front room to put your VHS of Milk Maids on and tug on your weener man, I'm not stupid :p

This is because South American (especially Brazilians) can't teach full-back how to play "non" attacking. Which is why most Brazilian fullbacks are like Alves, and why South American games are exciting because they throw people forward.

Lol, sounds like someone needs to watch for example, a Santos game. Pisses all over most top euro teams I seen except chosen few. Recent game I saw was 0-0, but was still one of the best games I seen in a while, and they were barely trying. What teams like them can do to some of the mediocre teams we see in CL would be laughable.
