5 starters. Risk injuries in order to lose with a softer than Charmin midfield, not give de Ligt a rest. Makes sense.

Pjanic can do with a couple of games off.
All true, but I still think we'll see a relatively strong team in this game. With the amount of injuries there's really not that much choice either unless you start some youth players which seems unlikely.

also, our fringe players like rabiot, demiral, rugani, ds and co should get some playtime. for one, ds wasn't too bad this season besides the napoli match.

i'd still love to see one or two players from the b-list. this is a rare opportunity for the youngsters to taste a cl-match without any potential risk.
