But that doesn't prove anything. What you need to do, young poet, is prove how Ferrara is ruining Melo, or making him not complete simple passes. The question here is not how Ferrara is ruining us as collective unit; that much is obvious. But what folks need to prove is how some players can blame Ferrara for not stepping up to the plate on an individual level.

And I don't mean folks like Canna who have shown for years to be past it and not worth our time. But the lack of desire from most players is appalling, and it doesn't seem like all the coach's fault.
You concede and accept that Ciro is ruining us as a collective unit. Not ALL players react the same to such ruinous management. The reaction is dependent on several factors...Mainly heart, spirit, technique, professionalism, and devotion to the club. Melo obviously has a fragile, very sensitive spirit and heart. Prone to depression as much as prone to happiness. Perhaps moreso the former...Chiellini for example, one of only two players whom this dire cloud of shocking form has not afflicted, is easily the player in our ranks with the strongest HEART. He is unaffected...Buffon also, has something very saintly about him, majestic. He KNOWS he is a King. The others...need results and guidance. All of them.

Some players need more guidance than others. Some lose hope quicker and more easily than others. Its wrong to assume they are all affected the same way by having a coach who will never be sacked no matter how atrociously he performs...

As a fishmonger, I was amazing. Wonderful with the customers, talented with my knives...and when I had a new manager who was a bald queen evil Kunt, my attendance and appearance suffered, but my WORK OUTPUT did not. Because the customers, hundreds of them, were my friends. So...I kept going, for the customers and myself, NOT for the nasty manager. Others...the majority under his command, lost morale, gradually left or were pushed out, and depression set in across his charges. Its natural. Many people NEED to respect and believe in THE MAN THEY WORK FOR. I don't...neither does Chiellini, nor Buffon. Like them, i still wanted to Give and to Enjoy my connection with the position and customers.

Melo appears to be the most sensitive of all our players. Sensitive to the manager, sensitive to results, sensitive to the aura surrounding the club. Its not what I want from him. Especially given the demand for spirit and fierce determination for ANY player who plays defensively in midfield...but its simply who he is. A poor signing. It IS important how different he was for Prandelli, and how different he has continued to be, for Brazil. And I don't mean merely tactically, I mean who Dunga and Prandelli are as Men, as Father figures, as husbands and fathers.

I never thought Ciro was the greatest leader on the field, in fact, I remember him going about his business in a quiet, controlled, determined manner. They are useful traits for a centreback...but merely complementary traits for a manager. Complementary to other more essential traits like Infectious spirit and Massive Heart.

Football Italia says we have lined up our replacements
out of them many losers (fired managers) and there are also 2 more managers
Trappatoni and the one that we probably going to miss on Hiddink

Probably miss on? We never apporached Hiddink actually, it was all media bullshit. I actually believe what his agent says much more than anything else about the subject.

That picture of Trappatoni on the FI website makes him look far too close to death to seriously consider, even for a part time role. I don't like the idea of seeing him fall to the ground and end his tenure in the world of the living, upon witnessing what Ciro has created and understanding that he has accepted a job which needs a man with balls of steel and a wily mind, not just a wily mind....which he most definitely has. Trap's balls are sagging...Fuck it. Despite the risk of such a catastrophe, complete with Blanc seen on film, pilfering Trap's jewellery and wallet as the corpse is dragged from the dug out, I would rather see the spritely wizard as Manager, than Ciro.

He is 70 years old. Perhaps though, he fits perfectly, into The Project. As he symbolizes what we have become; something wiltering, dying, decaying, hopelessly unable to stem the tide of horror, before death...Enough of that talk! I will head towards Van Bauzen, as I still know him from PES 5 or 6. I like the dutch footballing mentality. They enjoy playing the game in a very natural manner. And their coaches are capable of exporting their talents and tactics to foreign lands. As for how good is Van Bauzen??? who can say. He would be a gamble, but I see madness in his eyes, and I like it. So...worth a pop.

Laudrup would definitely be worth a roll of the dice. Give him till the end of the season, see what he can do. He has did well at Getafe and Brondby, only fucking up in his brief spell with the ruskies....He would have us playing lovely football. Because he has a Style. Which is like his style as a player. Fast, free flowing, attacking football.

Hiddink still, the best man for the job, but Laudrup, or Van Bauzen, would be more than welcome in this time of extreme crisis and trauma.

Let's get Trap for the remainder of the season. Then, evaluate, and decides if Trap or another big name is better for the team next season.

If our board is really that clueless, they can at least learn something from Chelsea and imitate them ffs :sergio: They brought Guus to salvage their season, and then decided to hire Ancelotti the next season and that proved to be perfect. Just imitate for now.

Yes, we should fire Ferrara (which means paying him out in full obviously), only to replace him with yet another unproven, young coach.
Another coach who is interested in playing free flowing, attacking football. Kinda like Ferrara was before the season started.
Am I the only one who thinks that may not be a good idea?

Oh, and who the hell is Van Bauzen? Google doesn't know him, so I'll assume you meant to say Van Basten. Don't know what to think of him really, but I can't say I would be delighted with him as a coach.

I understand you, it's painful to watch Juve nowadays...but, for me I can't ignore a Juve game no matter what I feel about them.
Same here. Even when I shout "just leave, you motherf***er" everytime Ciro appears on the screen, even when I just laugh when we concede nowadays - it's still the same addiction. Though I don't watch any other games nor even Serie A highlights these days, something died inside me.

I dont think Laudrup is completely unproven. He has more than an interest in such style. He has a method of application which worked well in Holland and in Spain. He has ideas. Inexperienced at managing a top club, yes, but compared to Ciro, he is a genius.
