Poulsen is barely half a season into his Juve career, so i doubt he will even consider a move to the United Kingdom.

But is Celtic really that poor, juve red ?
They aren't poor.

There top paid players will be on about £30,000 per week.

I doubt Poulsen is on less than £40,000 per week, and is probably on more.

The TV rights deal in Scotland is nothing compared to the big leagues and Celtic's failure to get through the Group Stage of the CL this season means they won't be making any big signings this season.

I like him a lot, but if a team is willing to play a good price then we should listen.
I agree. People here think less of him, don't know why. For as much he has played, he was pretty good considering he just got here.

True, but since we have 4 players for 2 spots (Marchisio, Zanetti, Sissoko and Poulsen), I think we should indeed sell Poulsen if the money is there.
Sissoko imo is better (and younger), Marchisio is still young, and looks promising and for Zanetti, we won't get much due to his age, we can better keep him.
So the most logical sell, seems Poulsen.

Portsmouth want him but it would be just a loan deal till the end of season with an option to buy for 5mln pounds. He'd replace Diarra.

On the other side there's Hamburg who see him as replacement for De Jong and they ready to pay 8mln euros.

We made the wrong choice of buying him, we shouldnt pair it with another wrong choice of selling him cheap. Because two wrongs cant replace a right one...
Poulsen will be CZ's heir and probably Marchisio's sub...
We are going to add a new DM/CM, when we will get rid of Tiago, or CZ retires.
The choice is already made and it bounds our future.

how can anybody think we'll sell the player who has been praised as THE target of our mercato after half a season? He hasn't played at all, why should we sell before looking at what he can do; imo he's a decent sub for either marchisio/Zanetti or even sissoko. And i wonder why any team would be interested in someone who hasn't played 90 mins in 6 months, is just coming back from an injury and earns a shitload of money. We can talk about it in the summer transfer window (maybe) because we'll definately need to reorganize our midfield. Is Zanetti retiring? Is Tiago leaving? Is Marchisio our CM-starter?

A loan would be crazy, and selling him under the prize we bought him would just be crazier. If Portsmouth or Hamburg or whoever really want him, well then they should offer us 15m or so. why? well we got him first, if they wanted him for 10m they should've got him last season. I see no reason why his Market value should have dropped one single cent since he played maybe 500 minutes in total and it's not like he completely screwed up there.

if prem clubs like spurs willing to blow £8mill on that trash burdisso, then i expect similar from a club like portsmouth who have sold 2 stars for big money if they want poulsen, i say we bleed the epl dry. 5 mill? you'll be lucky to get a lock of poulsen's blond hair for that

I want to see him play more. No selling.
