* Giorgio Chiellini

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has admitted that he may be forced to leave the club in the January transfer window after failing to break into the side this season.

The ambitious youngster is determined to play first team football and understands that he may have to move elsewhere to do so.

"If I realise in the next three months that there isn't space for me at Juve, I'd ask to leave," said Chiellini.

"Playing is fundamental, especially at my age," said the Italy Under 21 international, who has not played since he featured for former club Fiorentina in May.

The talented defender missed out on a call up to the full Italian squad because he was not playing regularly, and knows that his chances of making the World Cup are virtually gone.

"I'm realistic," he said. "In May I see myself with my team-mates playing the Under 21 European Championships rather than the World Cup with Lippi.

this is bad if we lose this guy, juve need to give him a chance to show what he can do.
