well i saw it today, and im having mixed emotions. some bits of it were amusing, but this movie just didn't measure up to the old one. i dont know what the circumstances were when the movie was taken, but there was quite some evidence of budget constraints. there was unimpressive special effects, there was only one oompa loompa (copied a hundred times). also, when i saw the first movie it was about candy, nothing but candy. and it was lovely. this one has a bit too much drama in it, and alot of things that were never in the book. (wont spoil it for neone by ramping on). i guess it'll be good to watch for little kids, but its not the light fun movie i'd hoped for when i shed out my 8 euros to go see it.

I'm a fan of Roald Dahl. That said, in this town I couldn't go near a movie with a title on the marquee like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I'd be too afraid of accidentally walking into a gay porn theater.

bahahah...thats pretty funny

About the Film, I thought Johnny Depp was Genius, but it just doesn't compare to the original IMO. I hated the story about Willy Wonkas past.
