Euro 2004 winning striker Angelos Charisteas has fainted at a Netherlands cafe and been rushed to hospital.

His Dutch club Ajax confirmed the 25-year-old was in hospital, although ANSA news agency has revealed the occurrence has nothing to do with the concussion he suffered in a Champions League match against Arsenal late last month.

Charisteas rose to prominence when his goals - including the only goal of the final - helped Greece secured the European Championship in Portugal last year.

hahaha. too much green for the greek

how is he doing Bllig?
He's getting his playing time... Give it one more season and he might become a frequent starter.

Yea, he's the hottest prospect for Armenia since ... never
Hopefully he'll be a good player in the coming years, though he gets injured alot

Yeah, he started once in the league and made some substitutions as well. If you like him; I advise you to start supporting their trainer Danny Blind; he likes the kid

Cheers to Danny Blind, I have a feeling our young Armenian striker can actually HAVE a future unlike other Armos..
Too bad Djorkaeff and Alain Boghossian play(ed) for France and not our NT
