:agree:

He was kind of stuttering and thinking too much while he was talking but then corrected himself, something like:"A game consists of 2 games(he meant the two halfs),we have to play 4 against Artmedia in all, therefore we have still two games against them."
Hmm I think thats a good yet ranieri way of saying lets keep our asses on the ground.

So true.

So who was your MOM, guys ? It's a tough call between Del Piero and Camoranesi. Since Camo scored a goal and assisted 2 more goals i'll have to go with him but both of them get 8.5 from me.
It's a tough call bother were great. I'm gonna go with Del Pie because of his great goal and his impressive dribbling.

Bad translation or not, i don't care. I got myself a new signature
Maybe he means even if you've more or less won the game at half time after dominating the oppisition you still have to give a team talk and motivate your players as if the games 0 - 0, because the oppenant will still come out fighting.

Who knows hes fuckin crazy but he made all the correct decisions tonight.

Good result and a great birthday present for me.

Forza juve!

As If he doesn't deserve it :D
I'm so disappointed I missed the game, but seeing what Alex did on that youtube link cheered me up, our captain is on fire, shame that curled effort didn't go in
Can you even try to imagine life never mind Juventus without him.

Everytime he does something spectecular I just laugh and shake my head as if im not suprised and its as if i've been expecting it the whole game :pint:

Who was missing?

From what I saw most of your players were playing. Gerrard came on 70th minute or so. Only unknown player was young plessin.
No Babel, Mascherano, Lucas, Aurellio or Gerrard. Dossena was crap. We had no bench. No players to count on to switch up tactics, we played a guy named Nabel El Zhar. Xabi and Plessis were fine, but Yossi, Keane, Kuyt and Torres played like they've never met before. Like I said in another thread Standard is very good even though they play in a small league. I wouldn't expect many other teams to go to their place and not have a tough time. I fully expect us to go through at Anfield.

how many assists did alonso provide ?

with this passmaster it must have been a creativity fest and beauty to watch *yawn*
Actually he did quite well and almost scored a couple times. It wasn't his fault the forwards were running in circles. You continually show your football knowledge by talking out of your ass. A good performance against Artmedia by Poulsen, a guy who couldn't cope with the Man U youth team is really nothing to get excited about.

Might be so, but you could have just as easily lost 2-0. Standard had five good chances, Liverpool had none.

Wasn't a penalty though.
Could have, should have Andries. Bottom line, we didn't lose. We'll progress into the group stages and probably much further barely winning because we always do. It's our nature, finish 6th in the Prem and win the CL.

Am i the only one who really can't see the logic in what Ranieri said after the match ?

“I think each half is a game in itself, so really this tie is four matches"
you ever read bible? you know they have this moto "if there is some crap in the bible you can't understand, that's because human logic is limited", I think this is the case here, it's not easy with our human logic to understand what Ranieri means exactly, or why he keeps on playing with Molinaro. He is logically over us all..
