I'm saying that those should be quiet about Juve's performance as they weren't here when we were facing a hard time. If the broadcast in Serie B was so bad, how come that I've almost seen all of the Serie B games on internet?
And I'm not telling someone how they should be supporting a club. In fact I don't care if they do or do not support Juve.
Fact is their ''opinion'' is based on nothing.

If you believe that we can't score two goals in Turin against Chelsea, I don't understand all the fuzz about our team playing yesterday. Why is everyone so angry with our performance then? You shouldn't be expecting anything, because they are

If their offense is so good, how come they only scored 1 at home against Juve?
Not everyone has the facility to watch football on the net and you should know that and it should be harder to watch serieB matches.

Its been years since the away goal rule has come into play and people are still regarding the home leg as the important one. I think if 2 sides are matched it is imperative that you score away from home as it makes the home leg so much easier.

Now chelsea know that all they have to do is to score a goal to make life really difficult and will be relaxed throughout whilst we cannot even risk a goal and the longer it goes without scoring the more desperate we will be and start punting long balls.

I did not say their offense is so good, I am saying that it will not be easy to shut them out for 90 minutes if we plan on winning by 2 clear goals as that is whats required.

Ofcourse it will be difficult, if not impossible to shut some team down for 90mins. But didn't we expected the same against R. Madrid? First we believed that they would win in Torino, after that we expected that they'd murder us in Santiago but the opposite happend.

There is absolutely no reason to believe that we can't do it

In all honesty I thought we wiould beat Real Madrid at home but not to beat them away but Schuster's side was not very good defensively but Chelsea are.

Besides that was a league format game that it was affordable but not in knockout stage it gets harder and we are not exactly an attacking side but like you said you never know.

Apparently we were the lowest scorers of all the sides that qualified and that includes Panathinaikos, Athletico madrid, Villareal and Chelsea so it is kinda hard to be optimistic not to mention seriea results against epl especially ours.

Firstly about me posting links to my blog on here it is because I do not want to duplicate and there are some people believe it or not that like what I write. Besides I post links about Juventus or things to do with this site that I would normally write on here. I write things not concerning Juve and do not post a link on here so I do not know where the spamming is coming from.

@JCK did you or did you not praise the blog in a private message and ask me to help in Juventuz blog? I politely turned that down cos of lack of time but you persist in persecuting me every chance you get.

I cannot understand how you can hate someone you have never met and devote too much time in snide remarks intimating that I am arrogant and act superior when you do not even know me.

It seems that some people are talking about Chelsea like it is the same side under Mourinho or United or Barcelona. We played against an aging side on a downward slope that has not beaten any of the top 4 epl sides this season and lost to Roma.

It does not matter if they have changed managers as Hiddink cannot change things in days, no miracle can do that. We went in with the wrong attitude like all the Italian sides and paid the price.

Anyways to the game what is all this about the guys in this forum and stats? Stats are meaningless in football as they give the wrong impression most of the time. Who cares of we covered more ground as we had to cos we trailed them early.

Who cares about a bunch of meaningless passes when a poor corner by Marchionni somehow found its way to Legrottaglie, who after some hesitation passed back to Buffon in what in doubt would be counted as a successful pass?

@ Azzurri yes we controlled the 2nd half as did Aston Villa but like Villa we were just not good enough to create a dent unlike Arsenal, Liverpool and United, who took them to the cleaners showing them up to be the spent force that they are.

Chelsea are too old to dominate for 90 minutes so they sit back in the 2nd half and to be honest there is nothing special about them. Yes they have some very good players but not a team to really trouble the guys gunning for trophies.

I do agree with you that Chiellini was very bad and his passing was worse as it always has been. It is amazing to think that some fancied him as a left back when he cannot cross to save his life.

@Snoop I agree with you as regards Mellberg but disagree in the assesment that he does not need to go forward as that is the job of a full back if your team plays without width. I guess I am a fag because Marchionni is useless to me and Nedved is too old to be running around as his only attribute.

We have younger players to run around. what he is there for is to provide quality and he did not do that last night rendering his place there futile. Marchionni had 1 good shot and that was it, his passes and crosses were awful.

@Andy I said Sissoko is not good enough in Europe and he is not. He may be hot shot in serieA with the amount of sissies in that league but in Europe there is a bigger emphasis on the physicality so he cannot bully his way and then looks like the completely clueless player that he is.

His job is to win the ball and give it to someone else but no, he wants to shoot, he wants to make passes that are not in his locker. Have you seen the improvement in Lass Diarra at Madrid, now that he has been told to win the ball and keep things simple?

He is now a very good player unlike when he was trying to act like a playmaker in England. I hate it when some players do not know their limit.

Molinaro should be consigned to the proverbial football bin as he is a waste. In the 2nd leg I would like to see Marchisio, De Cegle (if fit), Trez, Iaquinta, Poulsen and Giovinco have a greater part to play.

funny to see so many ppl here accepting such a pitiful Juve performance...lets see if you feel the same way in 2 weeks time, when were eliminated

maybe some of you should consider supporting a mediocre team like Empoli, since you can tolerate and accept losing

It was worth Inter going through for the spectacle of Burdisso getting his nose broken.
what??? 2002/2003 season Burdisso was in Boca. Get your facts straight man.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolás_Burdisso

During the Champions League tie between Valencia and Inter Milan on March 5, 2007, during the fracas between players of the two teams, Burdisso suffered a broken nose following a punch in the face from Valencia defender David Navarro. As punishment for his part in the brawl, Burdisso was handed a six match ban for all European club competitions, with additional two match suspended sentence, while Navarro was sentenced to a 7-month ban from domestic, European and International matches.

Just ignore me, then. :D

Makes sense because I didn't think that fight had been as long ago as that.

it was in 2006/2007 season. First leg ended 1-1, second 0-0 and Valencia got through on away goal rule, Villa scored the freekick in first leg.

And here is the bunch:

This makes just as much sense as me telling you that maybe you should consider supporting Inter or Barcelona.

We all support this team and we'll keep disagreeing all the time about certain details regarding the team. No need to take the fights and arguments so personally.

Isn't it the same as saying, "you support mediocrity"? Or "defending Ranieri makes you a loser like him"?

Well we can tolerate losing and stay hopeful so as you see, our case is closed. Can't you tolerate it? Then maybe it's you who needs to switch your favorite team to a better one. I don't say everything is OK but there still IS another leg Vincent.

Its nonsense to talk about negative people in here. We have all tried to understand Vinman or even tried to convince him, that our team ain't that bad, but that has all failked in the last years. Useless, so give up. If you don't like it, ignore it.

Well, once again, I have to say that we didn't do that bad. Don't forget what kind of a team Chelsea is. It will take us at least 2 years, untill we have so much quality in our team. They brought Malouda of the bench.....says it all I guess.
Still, its halftime now, and we can either sit here and cry our ass off, or stay positive and hope, that the guys see this scoreline as a motivation.

Bottom line is, that we maybe don't have the same depth in our squad and no Lampard next to Ballack combo, but when it comes to fighting spirit and never giving up, we are maybe the best in Europe, as history has prooven.....
