dortmund had more chances in one half than allegri's team did in 2 entire finals combined.

allegri would never approache a cl final allowing team to attack.

they may have chocked, but credit to them for taking the fight to madrid
Wow, congrats for losing.

I'm starting to be on team @Elvin when it comes to Real Madrid. All respect for them winning it again and again, they have an insane mentality.

But watching them win 6 CL trophies in 10 years is very repetitive. It's only fun if you're a Real Madrid fan, just like watching Bayern dominate the BL or Juve Serie A.

Much prefer them over the disgusting oil clubs, but it's boring now to say the least.

Take a look at this list. They have more titles than Milan and Bayern put together.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Champions_League#Team_records_and_statistics

And haven't lost a final since 1981. It's not fair lol.
Bayern decided to take a rest next season by hiring Kompany(lol)

Pool go into rebuild mode with a new coach, PSG just lost Mbappe, Barca look like a finished club these days. Teams like Arsenal, Inda, Atletico will always be a step below in this competition.

That leaves you with only City as the legitimate threat. Don't be surprised if they do another 3peat.

At this rate we should just hand them the trophy before a final. They don't lose CL finals, so there's no reason for the opponents to even play it lol.

Only thing the other clubs can hope for is knocking them out before reaching it. When they first get to the final we already know who's gonna win.

Before a lot of clubs had the same or at least close winning mentality. Real seems to be the only one to preserve it.
Prior to 2014 the football landscape looked like this:

Real Madrid 9
Milan 7
Bayern 5
Liverpool 5
Barca 4

Everyone on that list had a fair chance to get close to Real, especially Milan if they could get their shit together. Barca won 4 cups between 2006-2015

Now they’re just light years ahead of everyone else

9 CL finals played, 9 won

This aint fair to anyone else lol. Ramos scoring that header in 2014 is the reason they’re on 15, if they lost that final I don’t think they would’ve had the same mentality

Only thing people can say to them is "where is your treble?", but they won't give a shit because they have 15. I'd also rather take 15 CL titles over our two trebles, even if they're very special and only been done by us and Barca.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treble_(association_football)
Treble is still a unique achievement no matter what. Many of those CL's that Real have won is after coming nowhere close to winning the league, so that means extra focus and commitment in the CL to 'save the season'. Being the clutchest team in football while you are having a trash season also helps I guess.

But again, they have done a 3peat which is much bigger achievement than a Treble.

Quote from AS:
"The last time that Real Madrid lost a final in Europe’s top club competition was in 1981 when it was still known as the European Cup. Liverpool edged a tense, turgid game at Parc des Princes in Paris that was resolved by an opportunistic effort from left-back Alan Kennedy with eight minutes remaining. So Madrid’s last final defeat in this competition was 43 years ago."
