Why does Mbappe insist on joining this finished club again?
Trying to figure this out as well. I remember Cassano said about his RM time that he slept with over 100 female journalist during his time there. I’m guessing it’s considered the pinnacle of club football and it comes with best (female golddiggr) attention, sponsorship deals and Spanish lifestyle where hard working isnt part of the plan.

Also the challange at Paris is done. He outdone Messi, Neymar, Di maria, Icardi and Kean the past years

Hard-working isn't part of the plan? WTF

You don't win so many CL's and domestic titles without hard work.

Players still dream of playing for Madrid because of the allure and prestige that EPL clubs and PSG struggle to offer despite having more money and resources.

When Cassano joined Madrid, they were a hot mess. Infact current PSG is an accurate reflection of Madrid's galacticos from the early-mid 00's.

With the team they're building atm, they're set for the next decade.

For players, there is no club in the world that matches the prestige Real carry, even in their current state ( which is far from finished btw ). They are the last club you want to be competing with for a player because 9/10 times, they will get their man barring some administrative issues. I can’t remember the last time some other club beat Real to a player when they seriously wanted him. The only exceptions might be one club loyalists like Totti etc. Other clubs have to worry about competition in the transfer market, Madrid probably worry the least.

Ok I get that they are the most successful club ever but it doesnt mean they will continue to be so; also their league has gone to shit.

I strongly strongly doubt, hard work is not part of Real Madrid culture. Actually I'd be really surprised if they weren't one of the hardest working teams, and working hard wasnt a big part of their culture.

Their league hasn't gone to shit. Its not the best in the world, as it was for a long time prior to the past few years, but its still one of the best in the world and second only to the EPL,

Winning most prestigious titles in club football history and being overall most successful ever does not involve hard work? :D Tuz tings...

Also, no mentions of yet another big CL game where Verratti shows why he is essentially my favourite midfielder? He absolutely BOSSED Real Madrid.

Verratti is world class, when he plays (rarely see him tbh). Was brilliant at the Euros too, more so than Jorginho who gets the most praise

Rarely see him part is due to spending his whole career in ligue 1, not enough peeps watch it, but fans of italian football should seen him enough. But he ALLWAYS and I mean ALLWAYS, bosses the shit out of any midfield he faces in CL, his insane calmness, creativity, trickery, tackles, unlocks every sitaution. Ridicolous player. His whole game vs Real, is like many times before in CL:

And he was even better 2nd half. When Verratti was done with them, this is what Real's midfield looked like:
