Its just one goal ffs...
He did alright last year.

Big fan of Llorente. He was no Heung Min Son, but damn he got some useful goals.

Scored vs Dortmund. Got the winning goal v City. Dominated De Ligt in second half vs Ajax.

He’s simply a beautiful lamppost!

Gary Gillespie, Shaka Hislop, even Vincent Kompany said it or inferred it. That’s all we ever hear about at the back is this one player. It’s insane. Guys like Maldini and Nesta make him look like an idiot.

Yes!
Um none of those guys are English and they more often work for American TV.

Update: I stand corrected. Shaka Hislop is English. Apparently his real first name is Neil! LOL. Neil Hislop.

I watched both Inter and Napoli closely. With Conte and his 3-5-2 he refused to change anything and they looked poor all night. Like I've said before they have little creativity so Lukaku and Lautaro were isolated all game. Slavia easily cut through at times when the full backs were out of position, playing 4-3-3 in spells. Luckily Barca and Dortmund only got a point.

With Liverpool they have a really high intensity game, Khedira and Matuidi wouldn't be able to keep up and the front three press a lot. When Liverpool have the ball, the team flood forward with the full backs in the box too. Napoli midfield was excellent today and Koulibaly too.

nah Inter just threw a crucial CL game on purpose because Conte doesn't want to be in the CL (according to some)

I hope so but I'm just not sure Sarri is as good as Conte especially at throwing European games.

Didn't you see Sarri win the EL last season like a fucking amateur?
That worries me a little, his EL win, but I have faith that this was but a minor blip in his European career and he has learnt from his mistakes. I place more stock in the success of his 3rd place group stage finish the year prior.

It doesn’t matter if they’re English or not. It’s more of a league thing anyway. VVD is the obvious standout out of all Prem defenders, with the rest being shockingly mediocre in the big clubs. Of course all of the English defenders are overrated, that goes without saying, so they need to push somebody to be the bastion of greatness. Stones was supposed to be the best young defender on the planet, now he’s going to be sold.
