Capello eyes Euro glory Tuesday 2 August, 2005

Juventus boss Fabio Capello has again underlined that his club are focused on winning the Champions’ League this term.
The tactician has won numerous honours in recent years at Milan, Real Madrid, Roma and now Juventus.
But Capello, regarded as one of the best on the planet, hasn’t tasted a Champions’ League Final for over 10 years – since Milan’s 4-0 destruction of Barcelona.
"We want to reach the final in Paris," said the Coach. "However, that is a desire shared by the other great European clubs.
"Winning the European Cup is a target wanted by the likes of Milan, Inter, Real, Barcelona and Chelsea.
"But you can’t just focus on one objective," he added. "Especially when you take into consideration the squad which is available to you."
Meanwhile, the Old Lady of Italian football continued their pre-season with a 6-2 win over Biellese.
David Trezeguet grabbed a hat-trick, Alex Del Piero netted a brace with one penalty, while Adrian Mutu got the other.
There are also whispers in Turin this morning that star midfielder Emerson wants to extend his contract at the club.
He was again linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer but the Brazilian, signed from Roma last term, sees his future at the Delle Alpi.
