Mauro German Camoranesi is reportedly set for a summer exit after Juventus fined him almost £30,000 for his dismissal against Arsenal on Tuesday.

The Argentine infuriated club officials during the 2-0 Champions League defeat for firstly being sent-off and then ironically applauding the Highbury crowd.

Clearly disgusted by those actions which have damaged the Juventus brand, the Old Lady will now force the Italian international to dig deep into his pockets.

Camoranesi has had a difficult campaign at the Stadio Delle Alpi and Tuesday’s incident was just the latest demonstration that he can lose his cool in the heat of a game.

It now seems almost certain that the former Verona player will be sold at the end of the current campaign.

Boss Fabio Capello has concerns over his temperament and has actually substituted him twice this season just minutes after throwing him on as a substitute.

Juventus have already made an initial step to replace him by securing the services of winger Marco Marchionni once his Parma deal expires in the summer.

It is also no secret that the Stadio Delle Alpi outfit are looking to bring in another wide midfielder for the new campaign.

Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo has been constantly linked recently, while they could renew their interest in Roma’s Amantino Mancini after having a bid rejected last August.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Zebina – another player likely to be sold – has also been fined by Juventus for his red card against Arsenal, even if his was nowhere near the £30,000 mark.

FFS poor Mauro had to carry the entire right side & he got frustrated but the way he waved at the arsenal fans was idiotic.

i have a funny feeling that C Ronaldo is gonna be the next BIG buy.

camo was struggling with zebina the donkey behind haim but it was bloody obvious he was gonna get sent off from about the 26th minute, really idiotic and it was my initial thought that this would be the game that forces his sale in the summer

Mauro should have been fined, it was an horrendous foul he commited, but I don't agree to selling him. He had to do everything himself, one of the few players on the pitch of which you can say that at least he was trying. But he can't do everything himself. If Camo would get some support from the midfield, like from a central playmaker, he will once again flourish. I mean, we can all remember how good he was last season.
And c'mon C. Ronaldo, we already have one ballhog with Ibra, do we need another one?

Marchionni is one heck of a good player in Parma. I hope he can show this in Juve too!! he is simpleminded and forwardgoing.

Fining him for getting a red card is not justified. But for the action following it is acceptable. He did not by any mean intended to get sent off. He was working really hard that game.. Deffending, trying to offend, filling up Vieira and Zebina's gap. Going to the left to help out Mutu. He did alot.

You know, I agree with him being fined and all. But come on! Sale him??? He literally is in charge of the right wing (all of it, because Zebina is doing nothing). He does everything. We sell him and keep Zalayeta??? Someone is on drugs in the board of Juve...
