de rossi had a great game. it looks like he can also play as back up to pirlo. he controlled the game well with his passing. but its hard to talk about performances when we play teams like moldova. im pretty dissapointed with the scoreline. this is the bottom team in the group, and we didnt look as convincing as we should of been. its quite annoying when we lose the ball to these unknowns.

how bout that number 2. he was trying to hack delpiero in the second half. asshole.

took him a while to get into the game, but i was happy to watch delpi show some good moves and try battle the moldovan defenders. he still had his regular loss of posession that we've grown to accept, but the assist made up for that.

world cup? yes, id bring him.

He has to be called up to the world cup, he is the most versatile forward among them all.

I'm with Jeeks. If you look on all Italys forwards, everyone is heavily off form. While Del Piero is rising after every game :D

Totti... I hope he will not loose his mind in this world cup, and i really hope that there wont be any more conspiracys against Italy in the WC. I mean... wtf? last time 6 goals or so were incorrectly ruled offside.

If Italy dont have bad luck with the referees and no players loose their minds, they could go far.

if theres a player that can prove the difference, its totti.
and with no real sign of new blood in the defence, this is definalty the end of a golden era. next years tournament is the one. it has to be...

toni switching with gila in some matches looks good.

and vieri coming in as a sub in a winning match
my trident would be gilardino, toni and totti

bench: (its all up for grabs)

Awesome performance from Alex. I'm sure that certain members of this forum will make comments such as 'it was only Moldova and the match was insignificant' but DP was magnificent today. Extremely active, good movement, lovely dribbling and inspired passing. A simply stunning performance from Mr. Form is Temporary, Class is Permanent.

That's exactly what I want to see. Totti providing pure fantasy and playmaking ability, Del Piero offering width on the left hand side, creativity and an eye for goal, and Toni with his superb physical characteristics and goalscoring touch.
