The biggest amount I have bet is 1,500 euros.

It's true that it's a dose of adrenaline, pleasure to earn money so easily by doing nothing and incredible frustration when you lose. You want to play again when you lose and in the end you lose even more.

When you get used to it, it's difficult to do without it and you can easily become addicted, luckily I had a friend who calmed me down. Now I bet 20 or 30 euros no more.
good for you man. i know a few guys who got into betting pretty deep. one lost a house and a family. we were buddies in our early university years, but he drifted away and lived to the betting and gambling so he only had social interactions with similar dudes. an other guy almost lost a finger. one day at 4 pm he came knocking on the bedroom window of his stepdad and asked him to give 400k huf (1k € at current rates, wasn't a small amount ~20 years ago) asap because he has to get back to the casino within an hour, otherwise he loses a finger. turned out he had a debt of ~8k to a dozen of people, and nobody knew about his addiction. he went to group therapy and never gambled again. many of them aren't this lucky.

addicts have a mental condition to take care of above everything. it takes a great effort and many fail.

btw corona didn't publish additional names because he blackmailed the rest of his list and those who paid can relax for a while. corona is a convicted felon for extortion and people rarely change.

I think if he gambled on football he should be banned for life
I disagree, but a lot comes down on the severity of the specific gambles involved. Any fraud or involvement in games that have been fixed should be a long ban obviously. Betting on a random El Classico shouldn’t mean the end of his career, that’s too much for me. This doesn’t seem like another Scomessopoli as in 11/12

How do you know that? Not only is he privy to inside knowledge of the game but he knows players all over, easy way to manipulate games and fuck up entire organizations. No matter the intent, this should not be tolerated at all and should really be end of career kind of offense.

They can tap Cherubini when he suspiciously buys a espresso at a different coffee bar, suspend the director of the J Museum for whatever reason, I’m sure they have ways to prove or not if Fagioli or any other named player is involved in match fixing schemes or fraud. That’s really impossible for us to see from the side line.

This is actually supporting my argument, you can't control how influence can be exerted. If you play football you cant bet on football. Period.
