So does "Novocaine for the Soul", though I admit I just really wanted to like that song when I read the title :D.

Chilis are very good, thought I think the new song sucks

Eels are awesome, but their latest album is crap again

Heard of dEUS and Soulwax, not familiar with their music.

How does people here find babyshambles? I think there pretty fucking good.

coldplay are good, but they bore me at times.im into good ol hard rock,so the current bands that i like are the darkness.anyone heard of rooster btw?they're decent too.

other then these bands,i think muse are great.and so are system of a down, who probably qualify as the band i like most amongst the current ones.heck, there are pretty good bands these days, but surely not as good as the ones from the past.i dont know if we can put oasis in the list of current bands because they're more than 10 years old,and even though they've lost the magic they used to have, they're still better than a lot of bands.keane is good too.nice soothing music.

its nice to break away from the sex, drugs and partying in hard rock at times and listen to music with meaning.and im just wondering, how many of use actually go into the depth of what bands like system of a down and muse are saying?not many i believe.neither did i till some time back.but when you do listen to the social or political message that they're trying to get across,it can feel great.
