Alright alright, I'm kidding. But i have this annoying presentation from my Intro to french class on belgium and i just realized were are very fortunate to have at least 2 very fine young Belgians.

what about it's history, current events, and socio-economics makes Belgium different from other francophone countries?

Belgium isn't only francophone! it's only the southern part! in the nord we speak dutch and there is even a small part where they speak german

Aren't Belgians all descendants of Edward J. de Smedt, who invented asphalt?

I thought I read some story where he took his millions from his invention, started a cult at what is now modern day Brugge, and impregnated all the women.
