Today's lineup from @Alex-444 appears Spalletti is playing for less than 0-0 draw. Get Jorg and Cris out of there. You have pumped upto us Fagioli with all your talk, so play him!
And loved having Cambiaso here at Juve but on the forward front line today? Maybe me and only going by whoscored bu appears his weaknesses say not his position?
- Weaknesses
Crossing
Aerial Duels
Finishing
Loved Cuadrado when with us but RF wasn't his best position with his often off target shots.

Anyways ..
GO ITALIA!
:ita::jflag2:
Cambiasso has great crosses

Id say thank you Spaletti if that line up starts tonight against us. But then I see our line up and stubborn manager insisting on playing semi retired players. Modric is basically deciding who gets to start, who gets subbed out. Bizzarre.

Is the issue that we don't produce good players anymore or is the issue that development from u17/u18 is non existent. We have consistently done pretty well in the junior major tournaments then hardly anyone makes that jump. I know that the majority won't but it seems hardly anyone does, those players that look super talented disappear. I know Italians are late bloomers footballing wise but still.

We're the only ones with a u21 team so there's that. The Milan dumbasses can't fathom such a thing. Also consider that dumb coaching decisions over the last decade has consistently made things look worse than they are.

Yes, although it probably wouldn't win you a tournament unless there are exceptional circumstances (Greece, for example). You'd need 2-3 real class players.
They are in the easy part of the draw, if they beat Italy, they could reach the final.
^And to add to this, it all depends on who is on the other side of the matchup. Spain? They have both imo. France? Just individuals, I could see Switzerland winning that.

Switzerland are a great team and have been for a while, I think they'll win. I don't know why they're not spoken of more highly.
Don't have many stand out players. More of a collective of good-very good players.
That's all you need in a functioning system really
I think great points and this Italy could be considered a squad without standout players like SUI. Though they are functioning much poorer as a team than the Swiss. So please Spalletti get this starting 11 playing well this Saturday. Completely surprised ITA being the slight favorite presently with books over here .....

Draftkings
ITA +145 SUI +220 Draw +195
Fanduel
ITA +145 SUI +230. Draw +190

I don't trust them at all with this sport. They had Italy to win Euro 2020 at like +1200 odds with Belgium above them.

I agree can't trust them too, but just by SUI looking in-form and Italy out-of-form thinking the Swiss should be the favorite. If no rooting interest, I would take the Swiss if I had to bet.

I just hope Spalletti goes with some youth and doesn't play pussy conservative ball. Felt like Max manager playing for a draw against Croatia, then go down 0-1 and then start playing to score. And how embarrassing would this team look without Donna.

Smart money is 100% on Switzerland.

I have some bad news.....
