So much about being burned out....he either has made the most amazing recovery or the whole thing was bullshit. I hope he gets the job because only then he will do a press conference and talks about the real reason he left.

Obviously the excuse he gave wasn' ttrue. So he either fell apart with the board or had enough of coaching Juve. He could do a lot better than the Italian NT but maybe it fits him. He doesn't have the players all year long and won't get as stressed or overworked.

Nt team coach is different from clubfootball. You don't have the pressure every week.

The reason is because he wants to spend tons of money and he wants to spend on players he wants, not who management wants. Isn't it obvious by now that he got tired of having little input on the overall direction of the team? We were going to buy Morata, Coman, Evra, Pereyra whether he liked it or not, so he quit.

He can have his Pelusos and Padoins because they cost nothing but he had no say in the bigger investments IMO.

For all the dump trucks full of cash Juventus had lying around for the transfer market?

Please. Conte isn't a complete idiot: he knows the financial state of affairs in Italy and wasn't so naive as to think it would change between May and July of this year.

If he doesn't want stress or pressure, perhaps coaching at the highest level isn't for him. Maybe Arezzo needs a coach again.

So if its a money issue, how many members here that called Ibrahimovic (and others circa 2006) a "mercenary" will do the same to Conte?
