Regardless, it's a strange decision. He may have magically pulled it off in another scenario, but common sense tells you you don't throw in a player for their debut when the games in the balance like that. You don't take away the only player that allows you to play long balls to relieve pressure when your team isn't playing well. Pogba and Vidal were especially horrible that second half, they deserved to be subbed.

And then the Asamoah sub, I've never seen something so random.
