That performance was not anything to brag about. Fiorentina was really bad and they had no chances whatsoever. Infact, when they created one, it was Gomez alone in the box missing the header while Ogbonna was the one who lost him. He had some clearances but overall just a so - so match IMO and how Bonucci does most of the time. His error could've been fatal. If anything, I'd just underline how we can survive with overhyped long balls from Bonucci.

On the other hand, for his first season at Juve, he's showing much more potential than Bonucci who was a walking disaster when he came here.
i think that was assamoah who lost gomez but im not sure

Caceres lost Gomez. It was a pinpoint pass and a sublime finish.

The real problem is that Fiorentina had so much god damn time on the ball to try and pick passes all match. We were asking for it.

Gomez was smart there. he went to the left where Caceres is and he runned behind the back of Ogbonna. had he started from Chiellinis side he would be grounded

Pretty sure it was Ogbonna's ball. But Gomez, what a fucking take and finish. Right out the top drawer. How the fuck did Fiorentina sign this guy?

I'm pretty sure Ogbonna was in front of Gomez.
Caceres was 100% marking Gomez who timed a perfect diagonal run in behind Ogbonna who is holding the line with Caceres. Caceres gives up on the play, Ogbonna recovers partially but it's too late as Gomez took a perfect touch and produced a perfect shot.

Sometimes there's nothing you can do. A truly WC defender maybe could read that situation better but it wasn't easy.

Otherwise Ogbonna had a stellar match IMO, he got a head or foot on everything in the box and had a few great long balls.
