Krasic praised Pirlo and said he has never played football with a midfielder who is so good technically and who can always find a pass to a teammate no matter the situation. Milos also said that its an honour to play football with someone so talented

And stoned.

I'm very curious to see how he goes here. We havent had a passer like him in the middle since Zanetti, and Pirlo is a (big) class above him even at his age now.
Zanetti's Juve (I'm talking about his two seasons at Juve) was one of the best passers in Serie A and Pirlo wasn't that far ahead of him. Zanetti played his best two seasons with us. I absolutely enjoyed watching him and he really surprised me. He was class with us.

+1

I enjoyed Zanetti's time with us. He had a nice range of passing. Smooth player. And I'll never forget that epic volley he scored against Atalanta. Pure class. Too bad we had a fan stadium ban.

Yeah, his play was something else for us. At times best midfielder in Serie A, at Juve. He was a master, when fit, so calm and classy. Always in control. Was really shocked and dissapointed when we let him go so easily, despite the injury problems he was having.

P.S. wasn't it three seasons? One in B also.

:agree:

I was disappointed to see him go so easily. He could have been useful subs even with all the injuries he had back then.

Yeah, I think 3seasons. Forgot about the Serie B one.

It was a bit strange that we bought him when we were in Serie B, I mean that he accepted to move to a Serie B club with a huge points penalty.

I never get tired of watching that, such technique. Something funny about that, it was arguably the best goal of the Juventus season, and nobody was in the crowd to see it :D

We absolutely let him go at the right time in my opinion, he had a handful of good games as you pointed out, but really had stopped "dominating" midfield in the way he had with us. In his last season at Juventus his body was showing signs of not being able to perform very highly anymore.
