Still love Pirlo.

He won 2.

Most of the English press never fully rated him as high as they should have until after his performance against England in Euro 2012.
They know very little about football outside of their own country. Listening to their pundits is painful at times when casual fans can tell you more about European players and teams than they can yet they get paid to voice their opinions.

Like they discovered Bonucci, and the BBC defence in general, only at Euro 2016. Pathetic how insular and ignorant they are of players and teams outside of the PL bubble (and barca and Madrid)
Or a couple of gems from the Champions League. Mbappe and Bernardo Silva are all the rage in the English press, but they completely oblivious to so many talents in Italy, Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands etc. I'm sure most of these pundits have never heard of players like Naby Keita, Hakim Ziyech, Sergej Milinkovic Savic, Alex Telles etc.

That's understandable though, and pretty much the same way all over Europe.

I can't tell if you're agreeing with him or not here :D
I was not.

99% of EPL fans I know have only just discovered Bonucci, Pjanic, Alex Sandro and how good Dybala really is after the Barca home match. It's like they live in a parallel universe to us. It's really painful to watch sometimes.

Yeah that's BS & typical EPL ignorance.

But Mbappe getting way more attention than Milinkovic and Savic makes sense. And even if he's getting a disproportionate amount of it, that's the same everywhere, not just England.

Not knowing Milinkovic and/or Savic is one thing, but to only discover last year who Leonardo Bonucci is another thing. PL fans are fucking clueless fucks.

Yes, but I was referring to more highly rated players than those two.

So we play this game at work called Online Soccer Manager. This United supporter who unfortunately is also my colleague was in charge of Milan and was shocked when he saw that Bacca was not Italian. It's these little things that make you want to squash their heads sometimes.

What a racist, just because Bacca has a double consonant in his name he assumes that he's Aitalian :disagree:

Conte was our captain, and spent along time at Juve, whilst bring us back from 7th to 1 for 3 season in a row..

Honestly, Pirlo should too tbh, if he's not the most instrumental player at conte reign, idk who is..
