When there is a counter attack i like how senses some hesitation or an opportunity and runs at the defender and tackles instead of running back to the goal like our other defenders.

That is something which is decided in the team, a good defence always has one defender to attack the ball/player, while the other defender has to drop deep and cover just in case the ball gets past.

Barzagli is amazing when it comes to sniffing an opportunity to go out and attack the ball.

You could count on one hand the number of times over the past couple of season he's been caught out going in search of the ball.
