when we won the league in capello's first season in charge for me the most decisive factor in turning around our fortunes was buying canavarro (defensive rock) and emerson(midfield filter) these were the two most important purchases juve made. emerson does the hard graft, the dirty work and he does it with aplomb, we rely heavily on his steadying influence in the middle of the park and it would be foolish to let him join milan

True my friend.....Il Puma holds brasil national team together.....he might not add the flair & samba or opt for the limelight like the rest of the squad.....but i will tell ya one thing they wouldnt go that far without a Star like Him....

Forza Puma!!

Emerson out seems like a great idea to me. Come on, guys, how long is he going to last anyway?

I admit I'm not a big fan of his, though the one game I watched in the stadium this year (against Milan) he was one of the few players to impress me.

well he is more important to juve than blasi, gianni,vieira........though he does do a lot of the unspectacular work i think we need him more than we realise

exactly, he does the dirty work without any fuss, all teams need a player like him, no thrills, solid, reliable.

he is a ket to juve's midfield. if we get relegated than i both emo and vieira will leave regardless...so maybe this is an indication of emo knowing that the club will get relegated.

if he was to leave, maybe a player like De Rossi would be good to replace him with. Provided we are still in Serie A of course.

honestly i wouldn't mind seeing emerson go. but for milan's sake who will be sitting if emerson comes in.......not pirlo, he stated he wants pirlo to play with emerson, i cant see him sitting kaka and seedorf either........so the only other one in the midfield is gattuso, and emerson does play a defensive styled game. If emerson goes to milan, where's gattuso going to go because i no he wont sit on the bench he has too much passion.

hey if im a coach i would take gattuso over emerson any day.......gattuso plays with more heart, passion and has a great love for the game. he gives 100% every day (whether game or practise) and i think he is a coaches dream.

i think gattuso would look better in a black and white jersey than the one he wears now.

I think if gattuso came to juve it would give us something that we havent had it a long time....... he is a pitbull and can mark almost anyone of the field, i wish everyone had the same attitude as him. And i agree he would look alot better in a black and white uniform.

I remember Gattuso saying that he'd like to play for Man Utd. Don't blame him for that, but it would be nice to have "Rhino" playing for Bianconeri :agree:
