It's a perfectly reasonable trade, I think you just don't understand NFL very well.

McCoy is currently injured and in an offense run by the incompetent Greg Roman so his value is diminished. I need depth at RB since I don't trust Alfred Morris, so the trade makes sense for me.

As for Bradford and Ivory, Bradford is running Chip Kelly's high powered offense so will probably be the second coming of Dan Marino this year and I am hesitant to give him away so cheaply. Ivory is going to be the Jets' starter and probably get a lion share of the touches in that offense (They will probably lean on the run game more since they have an incompetent QB). Mariota is only there to balance the trade out.

I'm not vetoing shit. As much as I think ALC is a stupid bitch, he's not new to fantasy. He's not being taken advantage of. And I'm not vetoing anything unless it's collusion or someone's clearly taking advantage of a rookie. And while I do think this is an incredible trade for Salvo's double, saying it affects the balance of the league is a bit far-fetched.

By that same token, I can speculate that Eddie Lacy will get a season ending injury in the 1st game or that Rodgers will and his weapons will be worth shit.

The argument here is not that he is being taken advantage of but that he simply doesn't care about the fairness of the trade when it comes to how it would affect the balance of the league as a whole. This is what makes this trade ultimately irresponsible, at least at this point in the season, where we can speculate how bad McCoy or how great Bradford may or may not be.
I am sure ALC perfectly well understands how unbalanced that trade is, it's just that he doesn't care as long as he's getting himself the Philly QB. That was the point.

To finish off - if we are gonna do something, we either do it right and are serious about it, or not do it at all.

Otherwise, I might just trade Dez for Edelman, Foster for Blount, Murry for whoever and have a basically bring the whole house of cards down. How would that be any different than the trade in question?

Yes, he was good enough to make the 9ers one of the best Os for a couple of years' stretch in the league. I am not making the argument he is the best OC in the NFL but to just pretend that he was part of the problem, a major one at that, is just ridiculous. Again, a little tweak in the way the O functioned doesn't explain why all of sudden players no longer had the desire to put in max effort or forgot to play fundamental football altogether.
What happened to the 9ers was business and politics getting in the way of football and Harbaugh and Roman were just the convenient scapegoats in that whole affair.

5-10 games from now, it may well not be. I also project McCoy to not have as great a year with the Bills and Ivory to have a better one than projected. As for Bradford, I'll wait till actual football comes around before I put him in the HOF, if you know what I mean .
But that's the thing, all this is for now is little more than a speculative projection. In the end of the day, we still have a borderline 1st round player being traded for a middle of the pack RB and off the waiver-wire QB.

Play-calling could explain why the 9ers would lose a NFC-title game, a game they never came even close to playing; it doesn't explain however how a juggernaut of a team all of a sudden turns into a dysfunctional circus and half the team just decides to retire.
