that time for the draft works well for me, although I suggest pushing it a bit closer to the week the season opens (first game is Sept 10th, Thursday) as that way we'd know better the injury situation and depth chart of each team.

First of all, I suggest you don't suggest anything since I am the commish and in control of everything. Second of all, right now there are 9 participating teams. If someone else join before you and we don't manage to get a 12th participant, then you won't be able to join. It's either 10 or 12 teams, not 11.
