I think he is implying it's a testament for how good Salvo's (i.e. Vinny's) roster is ... but as I said - confusion is confusing :D

Anyone think Sammy Watkins is gonna play this week? It's between him and Crabtree.
I have Watkins too but have demoted him to bench right now and starting Decker instead. Earlier in the week it seemed he'd be ready but missing practice the last couple of days, especially today, doesn't look too good to me.

Crabtree is healthy and he's facing a terrible Saints defense
crabtree is an ok or bust receiver

why you laughing? Watch him do better than any of your guys not called Golden :D

Decker is more than OK of a fill in given this week's match-up. And it's not like there is a ton of better alternatives out there in a week where I have 6 players on a bye and 3 others, including Watkins, likely out injured.

Yeah I wouldn't trust crabtree. He could come out and kill it but Johnson has been better than him all year, Boldin as well.
:agree: Also, @Salvo, when the fuck is Gore going to perform? :(

I agree. Harvin's making Decker look a lot better now.

I'd keep watching the Watkins situation. He's GTD, if they say he is going to play I would put him in over Decker.
yeah, I'd look into this shortly before the game but it ain't looking good right now. I'd rather see them not risk him and the match-up isn't the best this week anyway, especially considering they have no running game right now.

I wouldn't word it that way - Decker is not as good as Manning made him look but is a very good WR nonetheless. It's just that before Harvin's arrival, he was the only areal "threat" outside the TE in an abysmal passing O and the opposing Ds had it pretty easy shutting him down, most of the time.

A couple weeks ago, I went with my gut and started Cutler. He did pretty well but the other option did even better. This time, my gut again tells me to start Cutler but I'm not listening to it. Going with Sanchez instead.

Eagles are ready for takeoff.

And that's exactly why Harvin's making him look better.

So you're basically Ruxin when it comes to setting the lineup?

when you word it like that, it implies that Harvin is making him look better than Decker really is (like Manning did till a year ago). What I am saying is that Harvin's presence in the O is allowing Decker, to a bigger extent, be the WR that he actually is.

I didn't imply shit. I appreciate that you're taking time to analyze my posts though.
