Childhood club or not, put yourself in his shoes. The team you loved growing up decided you weren't good enough and then got rid of you. Then you go somewhere else, get a real chance to play and develop and then they come running back to your door? I'd tell them to fuck off. One thing you can't put a price tag on is stability. Morata wanted to come to us in the first place remember? And then after he got here he settled in as a main starter and experienced great success all the way until the end of the CL. There don't seem to be many reasons as to why he'd want to leave after his experience here probably has gone beyond his dreams already.

If they send Benzema this way next year in a Morata deal I would take it in a second. One of them will be unhappy.
