Every year Real Madrid will spend a minimum of €40m on a prolific player or two. This is because they like to show just how powerful they are. I think they will sign a striker as their next big spending. Morata who? Only true Madridista fans know of him. 70% of their fans (the fanboys) don't. They want a world class player so they can troll everyone with how powerful they are, dominating. Aguero, Lewandowski, Costa, Lacazette, Cavani; this is the kind of player they will be looking for, and by next year, no matter how well Morata has done for us, he's not part of RM plans.

You're saying 70% of their fans is oblivious to the fact that a homegrown player scored twice against them in the CL semifinal and basically singlehandedly kicked them out?

You, sir, are wrong.

Everybody knows who Morata is now!! All he needs is another half season performing like he did, then you'll hear the entire world bid for him by January.

I like the guy a lot, but let's be honest here: chances are pretty big he'll play for Real next season. He clearly loves that club and he's good enough to play there.

It will take seomehting really serious to make Morata reject them if they really sweetalk him and promise first team footie as their next main striker.

I can picture him as their next symbol of the club. The signs are there for the perfect lovestory. If a coach like benitez presses enought, maybe florentino will buckle and bring him back.

Morata is quality. Lets hope some miracle happens.

Childhood club or not, put yourself in his shoes. The team you loved growing up decided you weren't good enough and then got rid of you. Then you go somewhere else, get a real chance to play and develop and then they come running back to your door? I'd tell them to fuck off. One thing you can't put a price tag on is stability. He will NEVER have that at Real Madrid. Ever.

Oh and I didn't even mention that Juventus is a better club right now. Real Madrid are just a collection of individuals being destroyed internally.

Morata wanted to come to us in the first place remember? And then after he got here he settled in as a main starter and experienced great success all the way until the end of the CL. There don't seem to be many reasons as to why he'd want to leave after his experience here probably has gone beyond his dreams already.

I dont see him going back. Main reason is because he will be a bench player there. And rightly so, Benzema is better and still in his prime. He will want to remain a starter, so he stays.
Benitez has a thing for Spanish player, so he might be tempted to bring Morata back. And I believe Morata if given the chance would be willing to return as he has made his feelings clear he would relish the chance to play for Madrid in the future.

If they send Benzema this way next year in a Morata deal I would take it in a second. One of them will be unhappy.
