IMO this forum is more about the current Juventus, there isnt much history in it. I would love to have Independent threads about all of these players who led our team to so many victories throughout history. Posting their stats, pictures, stories, achievments...etc would better our forum.

I read in some thread andy talking about formulating the most comprehensive statistic database about juventus ever! But for some reason the project failed. I dont think we should give up that easily. Indeed Zlatan has taken the first step in the correct way.

I believe that we should approach such a project systematically. I think we should create teams. for example we could have a team for general history, a team for championships, a team for player statistics, team for oddities...etc. Tasks should be given according to each member's preference and/or expertise. Of course we are going to need an overall leader (I propose Paul) to lead such a massive project.

anyways this is just an idea or proposal, the way forward could be formulated later. I just want your opinon on such project.


Information is out there we just need to delve deep and extract it guys!

Not a bad idea at all, but I dont think the idea of creating a great Juve site has failed, it's just on hold, as everything depends on the upgrade of the forum, which hasnt been done yet.

I was not around when the idea was discussed...I was under that impression...anyways why should it be on hold....data gathering is maybe 90% of the task...we dont really need an upgrade...am i right or did i miss something?

I'm not sure we can make it work with this version, Marty wants an upgrade and he said he'd create a whole section for stats, video's, etc, and that the new site would be more than just the forum.

He may have to start from scratch, ie, he may not be able to carry all the info forward.

The Ferrari site I belong to has had 3 upgrades....in 2 of them, the posts were tranferrable; in the other, they were not.:down:
