You've got to wonder why and how they started doing this though. I mean it's a pretty long tradition in some religions. Surely this must have caused a tremendous amount of infected wounds in infants back in the day?
Not really it can even make sense from a hygiene perspective, the area is really prone to infections without circumsision, especially in desert areas.

And during and after the procedure you'd actually have really high hygienic standards, compared to how things were usually during those times.

It makes no sense whatsoever if you don't live in a so called 3rd world country though.
If you aren't a complete pig that only showers once a year then it won't cause you any problems.
In fact it has more disadvantages than advantages.

I blame that stupid trend on hollywood and porn actresses with bleached assholes.

More supposed links that a deal to Chelsea is almost done, this time quoting 65mil GBP. This time from Times/Simon Johnson.

Meh, How did we go back to this still being a thing. What about that contract we supposedly offered?
he hasn't signed an extension yet, and until he signs for either juve or for an other club, these rumors won't stop. we already lost 2 starter defenders, bernardeschi might be our dybala replacement, juve's image as a selling club is probably stronger than ever, so these rumors make perfect sense for the average epl fan.

No. That's the thing. In rare cases it is better to circumcise for hygienic reasons. That doesn't weigh up against the rather obvious risks of infection not just during surgery but also after.

On the other hand it does make masturbation more difficult..

Nowadays, yes, there are only very rare cases where it makes sense from a medical point of view (not that it harms anything either), but back then, those infections where much more common. It's origins are still mostly to be understood from a ritualistic/religious angle, but you can find other reasons for it making sense (again, back then) as well. I mean you got plenty of legitimately crazy ritualistic stuff out there that's nothing else but mutilation (female circumcisions for example), but circumcising males isn't really one of them.

Yes, I understand the goal. But I disagree with it. The risk of infection is always highest during surgery.

Granted, with infants it really is a quick snip and it heals very fast.

Especially when there's an experienced guy there to suck the blood from the wound.

Please don't go Alex! Rather see him here beyond 2017 than Dybala. See him as that cornerstone along with hopefully 3 Italia DBs for years to come.

Conte really so pissed not getting Bonucci that this is what he must have. Guy seems so scared he might end up in 5th place in EPL and getting desperate. Get beyond Conte's desire this mercato and believe we could hold onto Alex for quite awhile. And who knows if Conte is still there in 2018.* Lol.

*Hey, I like Conte for what he did for Juve but he's gone now. My desire is what's best for Juve.
