Needs to be loaned out for a couple of years to gain experience and after that maybe he will be considered by Über Max

fast becoming my favorite CB prospect in the system, I believe hes better than Rugani, duh, Gatti, who I dont dislike, and even De Winter, who I'm pretty high on as well (Riccio is just as technical but more physical.) Only 20 but plays with a steadiness of a much more experienced player. I'll be shocked if he doesnt become a good player in serie A, hopefully at juventus. He's ready to be a squad player and should replace Rugani asap.

Surprised he isn't involved tonight at least on the bench. He looked good in the friendly he played and could do with another CB option.

Does this guy go by Pio, Riccio, or Pio Riccio? Hopefully he just has Pio on the back of his jersey.
Just Riccio on the back, but together it's his full name. Whereas Hans Nicolussi Caviglia for example uses Nicolussi C. on his jersey.

To me the use of an official middle name or double surname in Italy always seemed a bit old fashioned or related to aristocracy, but I actually don't know too much about the reasoning.
