Exactly. Benz was closer to the ball but it was Ronaldo on the end of it. His off ball movement is insane, he literally creates goals through that alone. I don’t see anyone else on that team outsmarting Chiellini and Barzagli and get to the ball before them other than Ronaldo, in that situation...

well, i think Caldara should be a definite starter, and out of Caldara-Benatia, Caldara-Rugani, Caldara-Chiellini, i think the 3rd is the best and most functional partnership.

yes i agree, but no need for the harsh words. Barzagli was finished at the highest level back in 2015 already, Buffon is FINALLY getting old and should be retiring. CHiellini tho, i think he has a lot to offer here still. him and Caldara give you everything you want from a CB partnership -...
