I rated him a 5.5. Hardly fatal (we didn't give up any goals, after all), but probably the weakest link on the team yesterday.

I didn't like Evra's performance at all, IMO. He stumbled a lot, lost control of his body and balance on clearances, and generally looked out of sorts on defense. I'm sure that will come around with time and team experience, but I wasn't exactly thinking he's our savior from De Ceglie yesterday.

My thoughts: Buffon - 6.5 - Not asked too much, but hey -- clean sheet. Evra - 5.5 - Unconvincing and a bit of rust. Lichtsteiner - 6 - Lots of running... almost too much ... with limited end result. Love the effort. Need to dial up more on the result. Otherwise OK. Ogbonna - 6 - Better than...

Then he'd be MoM? We'd have won the match? Or...?
