Maybe Lippi should give him a big mirror in the locker room so Materazzi can start with himself. ;)

WTF with Materazzi in the NT to begin with? :wth: That guy is only good as a thug to injure an opponent once his team has the match in hand and can survive being a man down.

I think the team is going to have to climb out of its own bad patch of form on its own terms. If a CL elimination round doesn't motivate you, nothing will. This team isn't going to respond to external pressure. It's there as much as ever. Juve is going to respond when it internally gets its own...

New rating system for Inter matches: how many clubs to the head C Zanetti will get. Today's match: 5.

That and Inter will always be Milan's punkass wannabe little brother. http://www.juventuz.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1021946#post1021946

Anyone catch Marchionni's nice cross under tight marking that lead to Parma's second goal? Nice piece of work.

Nah. Roma is just like Wiley Coyote when he runs off the edge of a cliff for a while, thinking he can walk on air, when suddenly he looks down, and .... POOF!!! I suppose if you want to blow an undefeated streak in style, choking up 3 goals defending against Ascoli in the first half would be...

Roma is running on fumes, IMO. One of these days, Wiley Coyote is going to look down and realize that he's running on nothing but thin air.

I'm not sure what I make of Roma. You cannot deny their achievements lately. And winning the derby and winning against Inter are no small matters either. I have to hand it to them for their form of late. But the math just doesn't add up when I think about how they've done it. They still don't...

Well, I think very highly of Donadoni and think Spinelli is a moron. That said, if you're going to replace a guy of Donadoni's quality, it's great to see the crotchety old Mazzone back in Serie A: http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/feb7m.html

Another tough break for Milan. But anytime you're in the Olimpico playing Lazio, it's no cakewalk.

Another wet game. Milan doesn't seem to qualify as "a mudder", in horseracing-speak. But really, chalk up a bit of the point loss to Dida on this one. I don't know what the guy was thinking. Forget this garbage about him misjudging the shot by trying to stop it off his chest and instead...

I know this is pure sports talk and all... But I have to wonder what makes some people speak as an authority on something they know nothing about. Now I generally like Jank and all, but the last time I checked his personal trophy case I believe he had, oh, about zero Scudetti to his name...

They outplayed their normal selves. But they also had a lot of last-minute, saving challenges and dives. I don't expect them to repeat such a feat the next time they play Milan on the last day of the regular season.

Yep, Des. It's pretty much ours to blow -- like an ailing Real Madrid at the end of the 2003-2004 La Liga campaign -- or to win by keeping the focus. Still, this is one of those seasons where a Scudetto is even expected and anything short of the CL quarterfinals this season would be a real...

They were good to watch. The key of the match, however, was some very opportune defensive stops that Roma pulled at the last second.

Wow... Samp 3-0 over Lecce, with my man Aimo Diana netting the brace. With Samp's flagging offense lately, somebody had to step up.

I think Viola is one of those words that doesn't change gender by the gender of the person. Kind of like a "turista". There's no such thing as a "turisto". But oddly, when it's made plural, there's no such thing as "turiste" either, even if they are all female. It's always "turisti".
