I do understand part of the question - I say "we" when referring to Italy NT, but I am not Italian. Is that wrong? I know Italians who believe supporting the NT should be limited to blooded Italians only.

I don't think it's something you can help get rid of or anything. I tend to say "OUR defence, we won against udinese"... not on purpose, but it just comes out.
