    Ramadan Kareem!!

Breaking the fast like eating intentionally? Never. But 'breaking' my fast by swearing and bitching, all the time :( Yea the international iftar was good. Though it's 'international' (you get people from all around the world) somehow I think they served lebanese food. Some rice with lamb, and...

    Ramadan Kareem!!

It's pretty weird reading all this because I always feel so fresh during Ramadhan. On normal days I'm too tired and lazy because I eat too much

    Ramadan Kareem!!

We don't call it iftar at all... it's called "buka puasa" in Malay so we use that term :) but yes I should've known since we still call the morning one sahur.

    Ramadan Kareem!!

OH! For iftar? Usually it's rice and loads of dishes and caramel and all these sweet dessert and local delicacies... :) Seriously, the food bazaars in Malaysia during ramadhan is just insane.

    Ramadan Kareem!!

Malaysians eat everything and anything I tell you :D but personally for me, a glass or two of water and cereal is sufficient. Personally the thing I love most about ramadhan, other than the atmosphere and numerous food bazaars back home - is tarawikh. I think it gives you the 'ramadhan feel'...

    Ramadan Kareem!!

Just for the record, it's not just about 'not eating'. Anyway, either way it's a personal choice, everyone can choose not to fast anyway - just because some people choose to do so doesn't make it a wrong decision, each to his own. I respect your opinion but really I am pretty convinced you don't...

    Ramadan Kareem!!

It's kinda hard to explain. I just think by exposing too much of oneself that it could lead to many bad things. Like alcohol. Sure not everyone's a drunk, but when you are, it could lead to many things, such as abuse of wife, and creation of serial killers whom all had a bad childhood due to a...

    Ramadan Kareem!!

well Gray, in what way do you think it doesn't make sense? :) No they don't know. Nobody knows. Hell exists, but in the Koran it is mentioned as a reminder for all of us basically to do good or else we'll be punished. Ultimately it's up to God because it is God who knows us best and knows our...

    Ramadan Kareem!!

    1. it is considered a sin because wearing the hijab is a direct order from God. and personally, regardless of me being a Muslim, I honestly think wearing it makes sense. 2. You mean murtad or not become a muslim anymore? yes it's a sin 3. If I'm not mistaken in the Quran it already states...

    Ramadan Kareem!!

regarding your first question, I'm a bit lazy to get my Koran translation and religious book on aurat since it's upstairs in my room. Sorry. No can do at the moment :D Well that depends on the 'mazhab' methinks, in Islam there are four major mazhabs which is Hanafi, Maliki, Syafie'e and...

    Ramadan Kareem!!

well gray. there isn't a "rule" that for proms you need to be sexy or anything. personally, I think it'll take a whole lot of venturing and creativity to combine clothes and dresses together to still look nice in a dress but covers your aurat. Try have a look at the arabs, they look very nice in...

    Ramadan Kareem!!

Yes I do wear it. well there's two sides of this really - in Islam, the rule in clothing is just that as long as it covers your aurat and it's clean. But, I have a few friends who wear the jilbab but wear tight clothes that shows off their body shape. This is not supposed to be. Also, I have...

    Ramadan Kareem!!

Agreed Majed. Ramadhan is just a start or practice that needs continuation even after Ramadhan, that is to refrain oneself from bad things. Regarding eating accidentally, a couple of years back I went out, bought Coca Cola and started drinking until I finished one can. Then I just remembered...
