agreed. i saw him a couple of times last year as a local tv broadcasts the belgian league, and he looked like an average player even in that league. i feel sorry for him, i always want our primavera guys to succeed.

his extension is a smart move by the club. most probably his salary would stay the same, and the amortization is divided into a longer period, making the balance sheet look better. as a player, i don't mind him too much, he's a depth option, and as we won't have fabregas or james rodriguez as a...

we were aware of that before, but more importantly, did allegri really subbed in an injured player? (mandzu would have made it two apparently.) i just can't believe it. - - - Updated - - - we should keep him, he's a useful squad player indeed.

i'm not saying sturaro won't be able to create EVER. but as of now, his passing is far from being pirlo/marchisio class reliable, and he easily gets dispossessed, so he should eye security above all, and let pogba, marchisio and hernanes do the risky stuff.

his defensive work was top class with 6 tackles. he needs to work A LOT on his passing, though. he reminds me of felipe melo: good destroyer, cannot create, pass or go forward. sturaro should not try to create, just pass the ball to hernanes, bonucci, pogba or whoever is closer to him.
