Never been a fan of Brazilian players, sure they got the talent but Mentally they're the worst. So I hope we don't sign this guy.

Do you guys seriously believe that someone like Neymar can't make it in serie A !! A player like Hernanes is "a star" in Italy and he wasn't even half the player that Neymar is at a very young age, what makes you think that he won't make it here ?

That some serious numbers, I really find it amazing that some people underrated the Brazilian league so much and overrate serie A even nowadays. nodoubt in my mind that neymar would piss all over every attacker in Italy bar none.

@PedroFlu got to say your analysis is spot on :hellyes: Specially regarding Lucas I too didn't like his decisions on the field. Got great skills but rather frustrating. Neymar is far more matured in that aspect.

A 19 year old neymar is > 19 year old Zlatan + C.Ronaldo EASILY. Have you guys really watched the guy play ?

Got to say neymar is the last person (since the Brazilian Ronaldo) that I can think of who can use both his legs equally as good. And that's a really hard skill to adapt specially in dribbling (those who played the game would know what I mean).

:agree: only problem is he's Brazilian, and Brazilian stars in recent years have serious discipline and professional problems (Ronaldinho, Adriano, Robinho...) they can go from being genius players to averages in a matter of months. If he's as professional as most European or even Argentinian...

That's Hardly the truth ! The man isn't just a show pony, I've been watching the Brazilian league for quiet some time now and almost every single time neymar would get the ball he would rape the opposition defense and either create a chance or score the goal himself. And the Brazilian league...

Yeah its stupid to compare him to Messi. But still IMO he's faaar better than the likes of Jojo, Cavani and the rest of serie A attackers (except ibrahimovic).....

As Osman said, Neymar is more clinical. Robinho by the way was really great with Madrid. He was their savior throughout his time there. He was their best player back then, went to City and his form Dropped sharply (same as Ronaldinho syndrome)

Naah Ronaldo is clearly the better player (talent wise), I've yet to see a player as good as he was (neither Messi or neymar). PS: even so neymar pisses all over serie A attackers (all of them).
