 that was like me when I read we were seriously gonna sign bendtner. ---------- Post added 31.08.2012 at 09:24 ---------- that would be awesome if Berba is just going around screwing clubs. Most likely SAF was joking - referencing our Juve saga.

and Rubinho is one of the worst goalkeepers I've ever seen. he was mind-blowingly bad for Palermo.
  3. Live Mercato Meltdown - 2012/13 (pants filled in 3,2...)

Sad that champions of a major league can only sign Bendtner. So sad.
  4. Live Mercato Meltdown - 2012/13 (pants filled in 3,2...)

 Right. We have much more than that to spend.

What are you talking about? How long have you been following football? It is completely and totally normal for clubs to buy a sh!tload of young 'promising' players. That's normal, standard, basic, transfer business for all and any ds. Plus, the one's that were most promising - yeah, we...

Some people here don't seem to understand that this was the mercato summer to get a top-class center-forward. Not next summer, or january, or whatever... it was this summer. Why? It was this summer in which Juventus had the advantage over many other clubs - especially the big-spending clubs...

As far as I'm concerned, Llorente was our last hope for a top quality CF. As everyone else is canceled out.. can we agree Marotta failed us on our primary objective?
  8. Live Mercato Meltdown - 2012/13 (pants filled in 3,2...)

    My thoughts exactly.:sergio:

Marotta: 'Juve fair on Berbatov' Football-Italia Juventus director general Beppe Marotta insists they “acted fairly” towards Fiorentina, but have lost Dimitar Berbatov to Fulham. The Manchester United striker had agreed terms with the Viola and flown out for a medical today, but never...

:rab: We're gonna make it through this. Even if I have to carry you on my back.

Mer de Noms' posts would be classic right now to read. He went full-blown spazz. I hope he's ok!
  12. Live Mercato Meltdown - 2012/13 (pants filled in 3,2...)

Yup. In other words - we should just keep who we have. I'd be fine with that at this point, and I think Marotta needs to go. Just my personal opinion.
  13. Live Mercato Meltdown - 2012/13 (pants filled in 3,2...)

Stop talking of Jojo and Dzeko. Both are off the market. Llorente is still the only quality striker where there's the slightest possibility -- however it's unlikely. Most likely loan deals for Bendtner - or we sign Borriello. Everyone else is gone except for G. Rossi.
  14. Live Mercato Meltdown - 2012/13 (pants filled in 3,2...)

Exactly. Good thing we haven't/didn't sold matri to milan or somewhere else.
  15. Live Mercato Meltdown - 2012/13 (pants filled in 3,2...)

Wow.. just wow... we are getting turned away by almost every player we come across. Not sure if any player we've been linked with has actually been mutually interested. Wow, this mercato has especially been a big wake up call. At this point we're lucky to have Vuc - Gio - and Matri.
  16. Live Mercato Meltdown - 2012/13 (pants filled in 3,2...)

this actually made me laugh out loud. this is exactly how marotta wants you to feel by the end of the transfer market - he promises us a top player, then gets us down on our knees  plays it so that we're emotionally dead, confused, and spazzed in the last few days so that we accept...
  17. Live Mercato Meltdown - 2012/13 (pants filled in 3,2...)

No idea. Either the market rumors are in full blown batsh!t mode... or marotta has lost his mind and couldn't say 'no' to two bargain basement deals at the same time and decided to splurge on strikers no one else in europe wants except for provincial clubs, where signing such strikers are a big...
