He's absolutely relentless going forward but Sandro is still the better overall full back. Spina would have been brilliant last season playing under the thesis though, those tactics would have been a great fit for Spinas skillset.

Should be tried on the right. Alex Sandro is still by far the best defender we have but Spina could start over current Cancelo.

Personally not ready to write Alex Sandro off yet like some, but this guy certainly offers a lot of competition for both Alex Sandro and Cancelo. Was just amazing yesterday.

I really don't see it. Alex Sandro is one of the best in the world in his position, both going forward and defensively. Spinazzola is a good backup though. 1549145573 He's used to having that additional cb behind him. Will probably take some time getting used to playing in a back four.

He is good on the ball, but really needs to work on his positioning. You could see that he's used to playing as a wingback in 5-man defense. I'm sure he'll improve on that with time.

In a few years he along with Sturaro will the backbone of our team for years to come.

Not straight away but I think he is good enough to be more than just a back-up down the line.

Well I wouldn't mind him as a Lichtsteiner or Asamoah replacement either but I do think Spinazzola could be a starter for us.

:D Maybe it's just bad luck on my part that I've played in some teams with terrible fullbacks. In the senior teams we used to but the not so talented players up front though as they could do less damage to the team there. I think with the goalkeepers there is big variation from team to team...

I see him more as a winger in our current formation with the ability to play fullback in emergency situations.
