    Mattia Caldara

So, to summarize, between the Bonucci and Caldara signings, Milan will have lost 13 million + De Sciglio. We will gain 8 million + De Sciglio Atalanta will gain 5 million. No wonder one team is on top of the league, another is making the CL with a shoestring budget and third is fighting to stay...

Looking to the future is fine and all, but Milan are in a dire financial situation even under the new ownership and need to consistently make the CL in the next few years to get out of it.

Bonucci hasn’t been perfect so far, but his performances in the CL have been great. Milan haven’t had a clean sheet since the start of the season. They might end up regretting this move.

Hopefully he runs his contract out at Milan and joins us on a Bosman.

This is what being obsessed with the CL does to a club. Making temporary signings with no regard for the future. A sad day for this club. One of the worst since Calciopoli.

At least when this club loses the CL final yet again, I won't be one bit sad.

Barzagli, Sturato and Khedira should be nowhere near this team.

Another trademark Marotta turd to top the mercato cake. We've been used to this every year since 2014-15.

 - - - Updated - - - Chiellini and Caldara playing alongside would be a terrifying prospect for opposing teams.

Yes. It is standard procedure for loanees (dry loans, not the obligation/option to buy ones) to return before the end of the loan term in case the parent club requests to do so.

Yeah, can't expect them to walk over us like this. We give them our most promising players for free (temporarily, but look what a difference it made to their club) and this is what we get in return. There'll always be other ambitious Serie A who are more cooperative in their dealings.

Agree 100%. We need another CB, and getting him for free (or a small token fee) vs Manolas for 45 million+ is a no brainer really.

We should give them Moise Kean for a season.
