that's what makes bands like soundgarden cool, they have way more than one or two influences even though they can sound a bit like zeppelin or whoever at times

Used to listen to their first two albums heaps, like around when Meteora came out. Probably were my favourite band back then. Still a good listen for nostalgia. Who knows what must have been going on inside these guys heads (Chris & Chester)...

Seen them live a couple of times, the best live band I've seen. Tool probably 2nd. Man, Cornell's suicide is still pretty shocking. Not upsetting but hard to comprehend.

The songwriting on Be Here Now is far superior to OK Computer. I find a great piece of songwriting like 'D'You Know What I Mean?' or 'All Around The World' to be infinitely more impressive than whatever the producer managed to cook up in the studio. I do often wonder "how did Noel write those...

Well yeah I thought the same, it was just a decent album but there weren't really any standout songs on it. Maybe Gardenia, catchy song. Ripper album
