I cant remember one single goal, bar the Nedved superstrike against Ajax, where Alex was involved in the build-up play, while Zlatan is almost involved...

The problem with Del Piero this season is that he's totally uninterested in the buildup of play. All the goals he scored came from the work his teammates did, and altho that is what strikers like Trez should do, it's not what Alex should do. We need him to create, not to stand around in the box...

Exactly, and since del piero isnt good anymore and doesnt produce, we shoouldnt expect him to, but, hence, he shouldnt play. And your argument doesnt hold water, you can bash a player when he isnt performing, which Del Piero isnt, regardless of his status, be it a mediocre player or world...

And as usual you're defending the flawless Del Piero and attacking Zlatan... Anyways, Del Piero made the most selfish play tonight in the first half, shooting, and being blocked, when Nedved was all alone on the left.

I do agree with you there, but you do have to admit he's been given plenty of chances already to contribute in big matches, and so far he's failed in almost all of them.

You may be more talented but that doesnt mean you're the better team. Success is 1% talent and 99% hard work. Besides, Juve probably has the best players in the world to complement eachother. I personaly would like to see Kapo start his match, he's impressed me so far.

Had Zalayeta not deflected that shot I'm alomost certain that the keeper would have saved it. Say what you want, but Zala has been playing very well this season, he's showed great teamwork and composure in front of goal. Plus, he's much stronger than Del Piero, Alex seems to be pushed away and...

Well, he didnt pass him, but he sure as hell made the opportunity for himself with a nice, explosive dribble.

Disagree, IMO Zala is the better choice to partner Zlatan in this game. With DP Zlatan needs to be static, while with Zala he has enough freedom to be able to dribble, come back for the ball and try to hold it up and open up the defence for other players, like Nedved.
