You guys are over exagerating :D The 4th man would have already seen the replay before the players even come close to the ref ;) Seriously, when we're watching the games at home, it usually takes us just one replay to notice if a goal was in or not.

I never saw any riots happen cos the ref did not give a goal but then the linesmen signalled it was, or same scenario for a penalty. A fourth man is like a linesmen and when he sees something the ref did not, he tells him. I'm sure there must be a way in the middle to make everyone happy.

I think it's a good idea which will stop players from faking injuries. Lately we have seen far too many players falling on the ground only to pressure opponents from throwing the ball out so to stop some counter attack.
