Not more important for sure, but DP has played more games for the national team than Baggio did, at least that's what I think. + Don't forget Baggio gives out more assists than DP does ;) Mind you, as it is now, I rather have DP cos Baggio is too old (even though his class is still evident)...

Tacchinardi doesn't play cos he doesn't want to ;) Him and Zanetti are more or less on the same level...tough to say who's better.

Yeah Zambrotta was by far the best player yesterday. He ran like 20km up and down the flanks, never gets tired, always on the go and reactive. And the 'disallowed goal' looked pretty neat; not sure if it was offside though, cos I didn't see any replay. Now all depends from August's games...

Breaking hearts is my job :D Seriously, before the goal, DP was pretty much out of the game, and thanks to a perfect assist by Totti, he scored a really good goal (like early season DP). I don't know why DP cannot be as consistent as much as Totti :(

DP was captain for basically just one minute. He scored long before that so practically no, he wasn't a captain when he scored ;)

We should do well. Finland aren't strong upfront, and they should pose little worries to Italy's excellent defence. It all depends on the vein of Italy's strikers and midfielders. We have to create chances to be able to score.

Totti's the main free kick taker. He's far better than DP in that department.

Yep if Italy wins next Wednesday, they will be close to at least assuring themselves a 2nd place. Hopefully they will come first, as second place is still risky since they`ll have to play a decider.

Problem is not if Tacchinardi is gonna be called, prob is if he is going to accept the call. Tacchinardi has been called for the past 2 friendlies and also for next Wednesday's Finland game, but he declined all 3 games.

It's a pity seeing a pretty good national team losing out pieces. I hope that after Euro 2004, Lippi or some other good coach (and not just a famous name like Trapattoni has become) take over.

He did call Tacchinardi for the last 2 friendlies, but Tacchinardi refused. Same goes for Gattuso and Inzaghi.
