I think Capello will test Gladstone during the Coppa Italia games before risking him in such important league games, but you never know.

Just read Capello's press conference news. Apparently Kovac and Zebina are both out injured and he is unsure whether to risk Thuram or not. On the other hand he said that for this match he called-up Culovic :D He also said that Juve are interested in Rapid Vienna's player Kulovits to partner...

To be honest I didn't take notice of what they said about the defence but as far as I know he has recovered. Maybe Capello will rest him ahead of the CL game and the Inter match.

Capello tried him on the left instead of Nedved today so if Mutu does play, I think he will play in Nedved's position not as a third forward. Still he will be given space to move forward obviously.

Hey Andy it's not about the media really; just an indication from Capello. He used that formation during today's training session so there is a good possibility that it will be the starting line-up for tomorrow. Now if he changes his mind at the last moment that's another thing, but as it is now...

Thing is that he has certain characteristics which DP and Mutu don't have and vice-versa. I guess for this match Capello believes that DP and Mutu's characteristics would be better off than Zlatan's. It's too early in the season to say a player is out of form or a player is in form cos one...

And there's a good possibility it might be since Capello tried it today the day before the matchday which usually indicates what formation will be used for the next match. Btw you're not being fair when you say Zlatan is inconsistent ;)

Actually according to today's training session Capello seems likely to rest Nedved, Emerson and Ibrahimovic against Parma and will play a 4-4-2 with Mutu replacing Nedved, Giannichedda instead of Emerson and Trez taking Zlatan's place. You see, the guys who were panicking after one or two...
