Benatia, Castan, Strootman, Dodo, Pjanic are all rather good players and I wouldn't mind any of them here, especially Strootman or Benatia. The Moroccan is really quality defender, I'd even say one of the best in Europe atm.
Benatia is an excellent defender and I was impressed with him during his Udinese days. Wanted him here, but unfortunately we had other priorities. His arrival is one of the main reasons for Roma's defensive solidity so far. Those who've seen Roma in the past few years will notice the difference.
I don't mind that he cheers for Roma, but the part about ref mistakes is just out of place. He played here and knows how much shit we get from the media, fabrications every week, but now he decided to partake in that charade.
Anyone read Di Livio's interview? Must say that fucker disappointed me, but after he went to Fiorentina it was I guess always bound to happen. Real backstabber this guy became, not just because of this interview,

In a league that has lack of quality wide players, defensive ineptness shown by most teams more often than not, where defenders can't fulfill basic defensive responsibilities he was very good, but the real difference was seen in European games. You can't compensate lack of attacking talent with...
Licht isn't good crosser and can't beat his marker regularly; good RWB need to have at least one of these abilities. His defensive soundness makes him an excellent RB. Playing Asamoah as a LB or LWB won't make much of a difference as his natural spot is in the middle. I still think that he can...
Asamoah and Marchisio, while Tevez can play there and has been playing at various points during his career, but the same can be said for 3-5-2; Licht and again Asamoah are occupying WB spots and neither of them are natural WB.
Conte's considering 4-3-3 against Roma with Licht and Asamoah as fullbacks. - GDS
